Prana Kriya Workshop
Saturday, September 29, 3pm to 5pm
Join London based Emily Victoria and Odona Farska for this uplifting and unique workshop on flow of energy in our body and it’s power to heal and to support us in becoming aware of our creative potential.
Prana kriya yoga harmonises and unites the flow of the physical movement in our bodies (kriya) with its energetic power (prana) helping you become aware of your creative potential.
This form of yoga is one of the most effective means by which to achieve your goals and aspirations, material, emotional and spiritual, and bring your actions in line with your mental and emotional state.
Prana kriya yoga increases vitality and health through a series of exercises or processes in the body combining physical movement with breath work. It is energetic, strengthening and re-energizing the whole body and mind. It is also calming, meditative and trance like, reminiscent of ancient movement. It works on a physical and subtle body level, moving the energies in the body and re-vitalising them. It helps rejuvenate the brain and spinal centres, allowing transformation and freedom from limiting beliefs and old behavioural patterns, opening the mind.
After spending over a decade as a corporate lawyer, Emily found herself becoming increasingly interested in yoga, meditation and well-being.
She had dabbled in yoga and meditation for a number of years and it was during some very demanding years working in London that she really began to experience their profound benefits.
In 2015 she began extensive training with yoga master Yogi Ashokananda in London and India and has since completed over 700 hours of teacher training in hatha yoga, prana kriya yoga and meditation. She continues to follow her passion and be inspired through her self-practice, students and on-going study.
From her experiences as both a lawyer and yoga teacher, Emily realised that she had a good perspective on yoga, mindfulness and well-being for people leading busy modern lives. She is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga, mindfulness and meditation and has a keen ability to weave these together to allow her students to feel their profound effects.
Emily has taught yoga, mindfulness and meditation in Australia, India, Sri Lanka and Barbados and currently teaches in London.
